Studies have shown that without a long range workable food plan that fits your lifestyle and your image of yourself, you are set up for failure simply because of the way our lifestyle is today with all our conveniences and available foods.

So what is the answer; where can we find diets that work. The main things to do in order to stay focused on losing weight and keeping it off is to forget trends in dieting. Gravitate toward plans that tout more traditional patterns of eating with healthy foods, because you are used to eating that way and it will not be such a culture shock. Get daily exercise of some sort, and keep a food diary. Take control of what, where, and why you are eating so you have a starting point. Shore up your willpower; even make bets with yourself, reward yourself with cash or other little incentives along the way, if that works for you. Make the changes in your patterns small and progressive, and above all, don’t be too hard on yourself.

Help is just around the corner and you can find that help by taking stock of your situation, what your likes and dislikes are, and what your goal is with starting a diet plan. You cannot just concentrate on the weight loss part, although that is the major part; but you also need to get your head on straight and feel positive about yourself, your life, and what you want for yourself. You know there is a fabulous, wonderful, knock-em-dead person inside of you just begging to be released; and you can do it if you get your ducks in a row and get moving.

Are You A Happy Soul?

Just a few years ago, and I remember it like it was yesterday, I had an accident that caused chest compression and rib cage dislocation. The pain was what the doctors call exquisite. Exquisite pain is purest and strongest, hardly tolerable, pain” before you pass out from pain.

By that description it was exquisite and resulted in my inability to use my arms, nor hold things with my hands. I thought to myself, give it a few weeks and I’ll recover. Well to my disappointment, it took much longer than a few weeks. In fact, weeks turned into months, and longer.

Prior to that, I was at a point at my life where I felt I was on top of things. My health was good, and everything, at that time, seemed to be going my way. Even though I felt like things were doing well. Looking back it was not all that I wanted out of life, I still felt that emptiness but, I could not put my finger on along with the pain I felt.

For me, it’s been a personal journey of returning to health. And, during that journey I noticed that there was a lack of knowledge, and sometimes misleading wisdom about how to do this.

And now inwardly, I’m a stronger person because I did this. I am in control of my life and body. There is no better feeling than this feeling of satisfaction; it’s very empowering.

If I asked you what is happiness? What would you say? You might say-It’s something you feel when you are satisfied. Or, they might point that when certain things happen in their lives, they feel this feeling and that’s what they call happiness.

Did you notice, that its just a feeling that we are describing about I Feel Happy. Its the same emotional feelings that we discussed two minutes ago.

Do you expend enough time dwelling in these feelings or do you let them quickly pass you by? Want to have success in your life” learn to feel it and feel the high, positive, emotional energies of life.

Don’t be one of them! Create a list right now of all the things that you love doing, things that you currently do, and make it a habit of doing them often enjoy doing them. I want you to really think about it too! I know it can be tempting to avoid this section and tell yourself that you will do this later. So, please really think back to what it is that makes you feel good. It is important to know what makes you Happy. Ask yourself, what really makes me happy?
