I don’t know about you, but my wife would be very appreciative if I was learning how to dance Salsa, if you know what I mean.
Ladies who do you think you’re fooling when you try not to stare at that couple hitting that perfect one, two, three beat of that Latin music, while doing the Salsa? Both of you try not to let the other see you looking at those beautifully toned legs and tush of that couple on the dance floor.
At our last class reunion a couple started to dance the Salsa, and it made such an impression on us that we decided right there that we need to learn how to dance Salsa.
We are both proud that next month when we go to our next reunion we will be able to join the Salsa couple up on the floor. Salsa was easy to learn once we found the right instructor.
My wife and I didn’t want to go to dance classes; we wanted to learn at home. This decision ended up being the best one we made in our endeavor to learn the Salsa.
We figured if we were going to do this we might as well learn from someone that is really making a living on the dance floor. The only way we could afford that kind of instructor would be to go the DVD rout.
We decided we would go with someone we had watched train dancers on TV every week, Louis Van Amste and we are glad we did.Louis explains every dance step by step, or as with the Salsa it would be a three step dance. Because the training is with a DVD, you have the option to stop and replay a section as many times as you need, and that really helps.
The best part about learning how to dance Salsa from Louis is he also has seven other instructional DVDs that will teach you how to do other dances. We are in the process of learning the Foxtrot and we could have never taken the time to go to dance classes to learn eight different dances.
I can hardly wait to see the twinkle in my wife’s eyes when we hit the dance floor this next reunion and I owe it all to a DVD hard to believe.
